CRAKEY INFORMATION

KYC & Seller Verification

Understand seller enrollment, private identity uploads, review and resubmission requirements before selling on Crakey.

Pre-launch release: checkout, payments, payouts and external email are disabled. Use designated test accounts and synthetic documents only. These pages explain this release; they do not announce a public launch.

Verification before selling

Seller enrollment starts a verification profile. Approved KYC is required before creating listings, and listings still need moderation. Approval is an eligibility decision, not a product guarantee or regulatory endorsement. This pre-launch environment is for synthetic verification evidence only.

What the current upload form requires

Choose the document category offered by the form: government ID, passport or driver’s license. Supply all four required images:

  • ID front and ID back.
  • A challenge selfie holding your ID and a handwritten note showing Crakey and the current date displayed by the form.
  • Proof of address.

Upload safely

Use readable JPEG or PNG files within the form’s limits. Do not submit documents in listings, order messages or public contact channels. Documents are stored privately and accessed through authorized review. A file passing technical checks does not guarantee that the evidence will be accepted.

Review and resubmission

Submitted evidence awaits staff review. Only draft or rejected submissions can be uploaded through the current flow; rejected sellers can correct the stated issue and resubmit. Pending review is not permission to sell. No guaranteed review time, retry allowance or periodic reverification schedule is promised.

Requirements still awaiting launch decisions

Country-specific accepted IDs, proof-of-address document age and business/beneficial-owner evidence need a finalized review policy. This release does not provide a separate business-seller verification form. Do not submit extra business or tax documents through unrelated fields.
